Are you a teacher in California? Do you need resources to teach about the California Missions? I have found a terrific resource and wanted to share it with you. The California Missions Resource Center is a fantastic place for students to easily learn about the missions.

Do you need more information about the California Missions to become better equipped to teach mission lessons? Consider taking my Fresno Pacific University course California Missions: 1769 - Secularization. Through this course you will learn more about Spain's founding of the missions, encouragement of natives to live in the missions, mission music, economics, architecture, religion, trades taught at the missions, treatment of the natives living at the missions, and founding persons of the missions.

In this online distance learning course you will learn about the history of the California Missions through many oral histories. You never have to go to a classroom, as the course is completed on your time. You can take from 3 weeks to 1 year to complete the course. Earn 3 continuing education units and become better equipped to teach about the California Missions. Learn more on my website.
