Teacher resources on the Library of Congress website are vast. There are classroom materials and lesson plans that meet our teaching standards. The Library of Congress offers professional development to help teachers use primary sources effectively.  What a wonderful place to take students so they can find primary sources for their research. This resource can be used in K - 12. Younger students can be exposed to the great amount of photographs and pictures to support their social studies learning. Older students can utilize the articles and curated resources to help with their research. Learn more about using this great site in my course SOC 938 Japanese Internment Camps. Or check out one of my other great California history courses covering the Gold Rush, California Missions, and much more.
